MNA urges to take action against team’s poor performance

FAISALABAD: MNA Abid Sher Ali on Wednesday said that Pakistan cricket team players don’t play for the country but for themselves after the disappointing defeat of Pakistan against New Zealand in Mohali, Aaj News reported.

He added that the team performed poorly. Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) should take action and make amends accordingly in the team.

“Umar Akmal and other playing alongside him in last six overs couldn’t hit a boundary the entire time is disappointing,” said Ali while talking to the media.

Players should be selected on merit, he urged, people who are dividing the team should be taken out and dealt with by the board.

He thinks that it is high time for restructuring the team for better results.
