Lahore blast: FIR registered against unknown terrorists

LAHORE: The FIR of Lahore blast has been lodged in Gulshan-e-Iqbal town, police officials said that FIR has been registered against unknown terrorists’ organisation and it’s facilitators, Aaj News reported.

According to the latest details, 72 people were killed in suicide blast in Gulshan-e-Iqbal park in Lahore while more than 250 people were injured.



According to media reports, the alleged suicide bomber’s four brothers and an uncle have been taken into custody from Muzaffargarh for interrogation regarding the involvement in terror attack in Lahore on Easter.

The relatives plead no contact with the suicide bomber for two months.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed his “grief and sorrow over the sad demise of innocent lives”.

His Indian counterpart Narendra Modi telephoned to say “the people of India stand with their Pakistani brethren in this hour of grief,” state media reported.

Sharif visited Jinnah Hospital to meet Lahore Blast injured people under treatment on Monday morning.
