India defeat Sri Lanka to cruise into final

WEB DESK: India defeated defending champion Sri Lanka in the seventh match of Asia Cup Twenty20 by five wickets to qualify for the final of the tournament.

In-form Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 56 runs in just 47 balls with the help of seven fours. Yuvraj Singh made 35 runs in 18 balls, he hit three fours and three sixes.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, Sri lanka made 138 for 8 and gave target of 139 runs. Only Chamara Kapugedera made highest score of the innings by playing 30 runs knock.

Man of the match award goes to Virat Kohli for his anchoring innings of 56 runs.
