IHC adjourns review petition in former CJP bullet proof car case

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Monday adjourned hearing of the review petition filed by the government against provision of bullet proof car to former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhamamd Chaudhry without any proceedings till March 2.

The two-member bench comprising Justice Noor-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Justice Aamir Farooq adjourned hearing due to lawyers strike. The federation had filed intra court appeal against single bench verdict. The IHC single bench had directed the government to provide bullet proof car to former CJP.
