Australia beat Bangladesh by 3 wickets

WEB DESK: Australia beat Bangladesh by three wickets in their second Super 10 stage match of the World Cup Twenty20 at Bangaluru on Monday.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first while batting first, Bangladesh scored 156 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted twenty overs. Mahmudullah played an outstanding in the lower order and scored 49 runs of 38 balls.

Adam Zampa took 3 wickets and gave only 22 runs in 4 overs.

In reply, Australia achieved target in 18.3 overs for loss of seven wickets. Usman Khuwaja gave solid start to Austrailia and scored 58 runs off  45 balls.

Adam Zampa awarded as the man of the match for his match winning performance.
