Afridi absent, Younis confident about good team performance

KOLKATA: Pakistan cricket team head coach Waqar Younis said that it will be a good match against India while talking to media in a press conference, Aaj News reported.

T20 World Cup captain Shahid Khan Afridi was not present at the press conference. When asked about his absence, “Journalists ask critical question to Afridi,” said Younis.

Younis was positive for a good game between India and Pakistan as India lost its first match against New Zealand.

Earlier, Afridi’s comment, that he was given more love in India than back at home, landed him in hot waters at home. He made the comment during a press conference after arriving in India for World T20.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made the captain post an explanation video to subdue the fiasco in which he pleaded misinterpretation of his comment.
