From shimmery door length gowns to perfectly fitted tuxes, everything at the Oscars 2016 shined immensely. Talk about some of the perfect moments witnessed at the night of the event, well lets just say there were too many to count.
However, if we absolutely had to pick our favorites, here are the five most memorable moments from Oscars 2016!
1. KATE AND LEO REUNITE AT THE RED CARPET
When seen together, Kate and Leonardo always take you back to the deck of Titanic with Celine Dion playing in the back ground. Now, almost 19 years later, they never fail to mesmerize you. This moment will be talked about, yet again, for years.

2. CHRIS ROCK’S OPENING MONOLOGUE ABOUT RACISM
“Man, I counted at least 15 black people on that montage. I’m here at the Academy Awards, otherwise known as the White People’s Choice Awards. You realize if they nominated hosts, I wouldn’t even get this job. So y’all would be watching Neil Patrick Harris right now. But this is the wildest, craziest Oscars to ever host, because we’ve got all this controversy. No, no black nominees, you know, and people are like “Chris, you should boycott. Chris, you should quit. You should quit.” Chris Rock going straight to the racism that Hollywood holds, he sure did make sure that he gets his perspective received.

In her speech, she gives women the empowerment they deserve and make people believe in the country she’s from. She paints a perfect picture of how the women can do anything if they set their minds to something.
