5 morning tips to keep your skin healthy and glowing

WEB DESK: A clear, flawless skin is everyone’s dream. But dreams do not often come true. What have we always learned from the start? That we have to work our way to the top. Maybe take care of a few things, work a little harder. Avoid a few things. Not that I am comparing the two but having a flawless skin is not an easy task. With all the pollution that we endure, a little extra care is imperative.

The morning splash on the face and the routine followed by it is always helpful. Here are five morning routines that is essential to have a healthy, glowing skin.

1Use a gentle cleanser in the morning to take off the oils that accumulate overnight and to wash off whatever products you put on at night. Start the day off with a clean face.

2Apply an antioxidant to delay or prevent cellular damage caused by environmental pollutants as well as ultraviolet rays. Common antioxidants in skincare products include vitamin C and E, Florentine, ferule acid, and botanical such as restorative, green tea, and coffee berry.

3If your BB cream or foundation has sunscreen, choose one with protection of SPF 30 or higher. Or, apply your makeup as usual a few minutes after applying a separate sunscreen. Apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

4A diet that’s rich in colorful fruits and vegetables, especially berries and leafy greens, is what your skin craves for a healthy glow. Add berries to your oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, or smoothie for an antioxidant- and vitamin C-boost that helps your skin look radiant.

5For a healthy, glowing skin, it is necessary to intake plenty of water. It is essential to keep your body hydrated. When you’re dehydrated, your skin can look dry and dull and make you look tired. The skin loves moisture, so drinking water is important to avoid dryness.
