WEB DESK: A charter plane with 18 passengers on board crash-landed at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Friday, Aaj News reported.
According to initial reports, the plane had to make an emergency landing as soon as it took off.
Sources report that as soon as the plane took off, its engine stopped working and was immediately landed.
Due to crash landing , four travelers including a captain and a woman have received minor injuries.
The plane was heading to Sui in Balochistan.
Rescue teams and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials have arrived at the scene and the runway has been closed temporarily.
CAA has passed orders for the investigation of the incident.
In November last year, a Lahore-bound Shaheen Air flight, carrying 121 passengers and crew members, made an ‘emergency landing’ at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.
