UAE restrict Bangladesh on 133

WEB DESK: United Arab Emirates (UAE) have restricted the host Bangaladesh on 133 runs in the third match of Asia Cup Twenty20 at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, Dhaka.

Yesterday, UAE restricted defending champions Sri Lanka on 129 runs but lost the match by 14 runs. They have performed well with the bowling again and now it is up to the batsmen to help clinch the victory.

Earlier, UAE won the toss and elected to field first against Bangladesh. Batting first, Bangladesh ended their innings on 133 for 8.

Opener Muhammad Mithun smashed 47 runs in 41 balls with the help of two sixes and four fours. Mahmudullah remained unbeaten on 36 runs in just 27 balls.

Pick of the bowlers is Muhammad Naveed, who bowled brilliantly on good length with swinging on both sides of the pitch. He took two wickets for 12 in his 4 overs quota.
