Shoulder injury rules Mustafizur out of PSL

ISLAMABAD: The left-arm bowler of the Bangladesh Cricket Team Mustafizur Rehman will not be available for Lahore Qalandar team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to the shoulder injury as he had also missed few games against Zimbabwe in T20 series.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had first stopped the player from competing in the league because they wanted to make sure that he is fit and in best condition before the World T20 Championship and inaugural Asia Cup T20 which will be held in Bangladesh, Cricinfo reported on Tuesday.

Mustafizur Rehman was allowed by board to play the league later but then he got injured so now Lahore Qalandar will have to look for an alternative player.

The media co-ordinator of BCB Jalal Younis has confirmed that the youngster will take almost two more weeks to recover and their priority is to have him for the Asia Cup.
