Sami five-for humiliates Karachi Kings

WEB DESK: Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings by nine wickets in the second play-off of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Karachi King’s, the most expensive franchise of the tournament, are now out of the PSL. Whereas, Islamabad United will play against Peshawar Zalmi, the winner of this match will play final against Quetta Gladiatiors on Tuesday, 24 Febuary.

While after restricting Karachi Kings to a low score of 111 for nine, Islamabad United easily achieved the target in just 14.2 overs to win the match by nine wickets.

Pacer Mohammad Sami bowled extra-ordinary and grabbed five wickets to capture man of the match award.

Brad Haddin and Dwayne Smith scored unbeaten half-centuries and equal the biggest victory by 9 wickets. Previously only Peshawar Zalmi won by 9 wickets.
