Quetta Gladiators secure victory against Karachi Kings

WEB DESK: Quetta Gladiators won by 8 wickets against Karachi Kings in the fourth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Ahmed Shehzad played a match-winning innings by making 71 runs and got the man of the match award.

Earlier, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Batting first, Karachi made 147/7 and set the highest target of the tournament so far.

In reply, Quetta Gladiators started their innings steadily and firmly. With the help of highest opening stand of 92 runs between Ahmed Shahzad (71 runs) and Luke Wright (47 runs) made them favourites of the match.

Kevin Pietorson finished the match for Quetta Gladiators by hitting a straight huge six and remain unbeaten on 29.

Next match will be played between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi at 21:00pst.
