Quetta Gladiators beat Peshawar in last-ball thriller

WEB DESK: The heart-racing last-ball thriller concluded with Peshawar Zalmi’s defeat at the hands of Quetta Gladiators in the first Pakistan Super League (PSL) play-off at Dubai Stadium as Gladiators cruised into the final.

Peshawar Zalmi batsman Darren Sammy’s quickfire 38 runs off 29 balls went in vein.
Mohammad Nawaz’s brilliant bowling disturbed strong batting lineup of Peshawar Zalmi, he took 3 wickets and grab the award of man of the match.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Quetta Gladiators put a target of 134 runs with the help of Kevin Pietersen (53) and Kumar Sangakkara (37). Wahab Riaz took 3 for 17. Wahab got Smart Player of the Match Award.

Muhammed Nawaz received Man of the Match award for his all-round performance.
