ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday announced nation-wide protest on Feb 6 against privatization and what he termed, “anti-mass tax policies” of the government.
“PTI would hold protest in all districts of the country against privatization policy,” he said while addressing a press conference at his residence at Bani Gala.
Imran Khan, referring to Tuesday incident at Karachi airport, said that the authorities deliberately brought Pakistan Airline (PIA) to this point, so that they could prepare the ground for its privatization.
Chairman PTI strongly criticized the use of force against PIA Staff, which was on strike against its privatization.
He was also critical about the imposition of taxes worth Rs40 billion without approval of the parliament.
