Protesters condemn victimization of Kashmiri students in IHK

MIRPUR: Like rest of AJK, people in Mirpur division observed protest day on Saturday to mark severe indignation and resentment against the ongoing victimization of the Kashmiri students in Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir by the occupational forces.

Call for observing black day was given by the AJK government against the torturing and registration of sedition charges against of the students of Jawahar Lal Nehru University in New Delhi, who recently raised with strong protest against the judicial murder of the young freedom-loving Kashmiri Muhammad Afzal Gurroo Shaheed.

The mass anti-India rallies followed by the protest demonstrations by the people of all walks of life in all small and major towns and cities in Mirpur division including Mirpur city, Bhimbher and Kotli against the killing of the students in occupied Kashmir.

Hundreds of people from all walks of life thronged the streets morning to join the protest rallies to mark the resentment day. Addressing protest rally at the District Court Premises in Mirpur speakers including Muslim Conference leader Shakoor Mughal, JI leader Tanveer Ahmed Ghazi and others strongly condemned the booking of the Kashmiri students in sedition charges in the Indian held Jammu & Kashmir.

They condemned the massive human rights abuses committed by the Indian occupying forces against the innocent people including the students in the recent past days in Kashmir.
