PIA serves show cause notice to 64 employees

ISLAMABAD: Keeping it’s promise of dealing with protesters with an iron hand the government issued show cause notices to 64 employees including pilots and senior officials.

The PIA employees strike against privatization has reached its fifteenth days. The strike has left thousands of passengers stranded and delayed over a hundred flights.

Earlier the day, unknown men left the three missing PIA employees at a housing society near Nagan Chowrangi.

The missing persons identified as Hidayat ullah and Saif were later dropped to their houses by the police. The employees thanked the JIC for protesting for their recovery.

The employees were picked up from their residence by unknown men four days back. Police said they are investigating possible kidnappers.
