Peshawar Zalmi win toss, elect to field

WEB DESK: Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to field first against Quetta Gladiators in the first qualifying match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Kiwi all-rounder Nathan McCullum has joined Quetta Gladiators to replace Muhammad Nabi. Peshawar Zalmi have got the services of Jonny Bairstow in place of Tamim Iqbal.

Both teams have played eight matches each in the league stage and won six of them. Both teams had played two matches with each other. In a first match, Quetta Gladiators won by three wickets and Peshawar Zalmi won by eight wickets in the second match.

The winning team will directly qualify for the finals and the loser team will face Islamabad United or Karachi Kings in the second qualifying match.
