Peshawar Zalmi topple Kings in last-ball thriller

WEB DESK: Peshawar Zalmi beat Karachi Kings in a nail-biting finish by three runs in the 10th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

After winning the toss, Peshawar Zalmi chose to bat first and put second highest score of the tournament of 182/3.

In reply, Karachi lost their first wicket on 27 and after that their wickets fall in a quick succession and they lost first five wickets at the score of 48.

After that, Karachi Kings made a brilliant comeback when James Vince and Ravi Bopara made a 61 runs partnership.

James Vince played a 44 runs innings and became a victim of Shaun Tait.

Ravi Bopara continued his lone warrior fight but gave away his wicket when Karachi Kings needed 5 runs. After his dismissal Karachi needed 5 runs in 3 balls and they lost by three runs.

Man of the match award goes to Muhammad Hafeez for his maiden half century in PSL.
