MQM protests before parliament against Altaf’s media ban

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) staged sit-in before Parliament House on Thursday against MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s broadcasting ban, Aaj News reported.

Senior MQM leader Farooq Sattar said there was no restriction on speaking, writing and listening in the constitution of Pakistan. If the ban continued, all the constitutional means would be adopted to end the ban.

MQM leaders Rasheed Godil, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Ali Raza Abidi, Nasreen Jalil and Khushbakht Shujaat among others member of assemblies and senators were also present on the occasion.

“Feeling of despair is being converted into feeling of being neglected,” he said.
