Load-shedding reduces from 18 to six hours: Abid Sher

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said due to sincere efforts of the present government load-shedding hours had been reduced from 18 to six hours in the country.

Talking to a private TV channel, he said that a number of development projects had been launched during last three years which would be helpful to bring prosperity and reducing the problems of the people.

He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project would prove as fate changer not only for Pakistan but for the entire region.

Replying to a question, the minister said the country had moved on a way of progress under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

He said that the present government believes in transparency. He added that international community had also expressed its confidence on policies of the government.

Abid Sher Ali said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was the group of depressed people who were spreading desperation among the people.
