Lahore Qalandars chances re-alive in PSL

WEB DESK: Lahore Qalandars beat Peshawar Zalmi by four runs in the fifteenth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Lahore Qalandars would probably had disqualified, had they lost against Peshawar Zalmi as they were on number five with only two points. However, they are now equal with Karachi Kings and Islamabad United with four points each.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to field first.

Batting first, Lahore Qalandars posted a competitive total of 164 for 3. Courtesy Cameron Delport and Umar Akmal who made 78 and unbeaten 52 runs respectively.

In reply, David Malan only showed some resistance by scoring 42 runs but their innings end up on 160 and 7 as they lost by four runs. Peshawar Zalmi faced their second defeat in the tournament

Man of the match award went to Cameron Delport for his 78 runs in 61 balls.
