Kashmir Solidarity Day to be observed on Friday

LAHORE: Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed in the Punjab capital on February 5 (Friday) with the pledge to  continue supporting Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

The day will dawn with special prayers for the martyrs of Kashmir, victory of the freedom struggle and expression of
solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

Different political and social organizations have chalked out special programmes to show solidarity with the Kashmiris struggling to get freedom from India.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will hold a rally in front of the Punjab Assembly which will be addressed by prominent local and national leader.

TV channels will also telecast special programmes to mark the day, highlighting the importance of the day for the Kashmiri people.
