Karachi Kings set target of 179 for Lahore Qalandars

WEB DESK: Karachi Kings have set target of 179 runs for Lahore Qalandars in the twelfth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and put Karachi Kings to bat first.

Karachi replaced Lendl Simmons and Saifullah Bangash with Mushfiqur Rahim and Sohail Khan. Shoaib Malik did the opening with Nauman Anwar. They put 54 runs partnership on the board and gave the ideal start.

Karachi were on 49/0 after the powerplay but couple of wickets fell after soon later and the score was 73/2 after 10 overs.

They scored 105 runs in last 10 overs, courtesy brilliant batting by Ravi Bopara who remained unbeaten on 71 runs on 43 balls.

Karachi ended up their innings on 178/5 in 20 overs.
