Karachi Kings set target of 148 for Quetta Gladiators

WEB DESK: Karachi Kings set a target of 148 for Quetta Gladiators in the fourth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Quetta won the toss and elected to bowl first. Both teams stuck with their previous match line-up.

Batting first, Karachi lost their first wicket in the first over and gave chance to Quetta Gladiators to dominate the match.

Karachi Kings were on 30/2 after the power play and 57/3 after 10 overs.

Karachi needs to accelerate after that but Quetta spinners contained the runs and only gave 46 runs from 11 to 16 overs and took price wicket of Shakib-ul-Hasan who got the man of the match award in last match.

But 44 runs in the last four overs made by Karachi Kings, results in highest target of the PSL so far and Karachi Kings end-up their Innings on 147/7.

Muhammad Nawaz took 1 for 19 for Quetta Gladiators and impressed everyone again.

Ravi Bopara, Shoaib Malik* and James Vince scored 40, 37* and 30 runs respectively.
