WEB DESK: Peshawar Zalmi beat Karachi Kings by three runs on Thursday in the tenth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sharjah. Muhammad Hafeez was named Man of the Match.
Peshawar Zalmi gave a 183-run chase to Kings which they lost from three runs and Zalmi seized the match.
Pakistan was five down when Ravi Bhopara tried to save the day by hitting 67 off 33 runs to take his team closer to the target with only 13 needed in the last over but to Zalmi’s delight, he was caught at long-on with five needed off three balls.
Muhammad Hafeez scored 59 off 35 balls courtesy seven boundaries and three sixes. Tamim Iqbal (37) and Kamran Akmal (30) also contributed to the 178-4 total.
