Karachi Kings beat Lahore Qalandars by 7 wickets

WEB DESK: Shakib-ul-Hassan drives Karachi Kings to beat Lahore Qalandars by 7 wickets in the second match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Dubai Cricket Stadium, Aaj News reported.

Earlier, Karachi Kings won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Lahore Qalandars were unable to get any momentum in their 20 overs innings and set a low target of 126 for Karachi Kings. Muhammad Rizwan the highest scorer from Qalandars made 37 runs.

The highlight of the match was Muhammad Amir for the first-ever PSL hat trick as he completed his quota by taking 3 for 27.

In reply, Karachi Kings lost their 2 wickets for 4 runs after that Dwayne Bravo dropped a dolly catch of Lendl Simmons and ultimately he and Shakib-ul-Hassan won the match for Karachi Kings.

Lendl Simmons also played a pivotal role by making unbeaten 62 runs in 46 balls.

Man of the match goes to Shakib-ul-Hassan who made 51 runs for 35 balls and a wicket too.

The third match of PSL between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will be start at 21:00pst.
