ISLAMABAD: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has said that Jammu and Kashmir is one unit and cannot be divided on religious or regional lines.
The JKLF leader, Showkat Bakhshi, addressing a public gathering at Bhaderwah in Doda district deplored that the authorities had turned Jammu as a `no-go’ area for pro-freedom leaders. This is aimed at keeping the people of Kashmir away from their Jammu brethren, he added,reported KMS.
“We want to convey to our brothers in Jammu region that we are one and will always remain one,” he maintained.Showkat Bakhhshi had led a party delegation to Bhaderwah to express condolence with the bereaved family of noted social leader, Abdul Hai Khateeb. He was accompanied by JKLF leaders including Muhammad Sidiq Shah, Ghulam Muhammad Dar and Ashraf Bin Salam.
Meanwhile, the JKLF Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed grief over the demise of the mother of his close friend, Abdul Hamid Butt.
