LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his return from Islamabad, inaugurated the project of Jail Road signal free corridor.
Addressing the citizens and labourers on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that like other projects of Punjab government, Jail Road signal free corridor was a masterpiece of transparency and standard. He said that PML-N government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had promoted the trend of completing public welfare projects speedily.
Shehbaz said that the criticism on the public welfare projects was, in fact, opposition to development and prosperity of the people. He said that those criticizing public welfare projects unjustifiably had no concern with welfare of the people.
The Chief Minister said that fuel would be saved due to Jail Road signal free corridor and more than four lakh vehicles would pass from the signal free corridor. He said that modern traveling facility would be available to the citizens due to completion of this project.
