Here’s why Arjun refused to watch Sonam’s ‘Neerja’

WEB DESK: While Bollywood celebs have praised Neerja, Sonam’s cousin and actor Arjun Kapoor has chosen not to watch the film out of a certain ‘fear’.

Arjun uploaded a video on Twitter explaining why he has ‘avoided’ watching her film. He says that he has a “fear of losing out on his loved ones”, and Sonam remains “one of those who he loves tremendously”. Hence, he will skip this Sonam starrer.

In the video, he said: “To tell you my fear, which I have avoided and not confessed and not put it out there is that I have a fear of losing out my loved ones. And you remain somebody I love tremendously that half a part of me could not see your film because I know how things pan out.”

But that didn’t stop the Two states actor for showing his love and support for the starlet and he wished her all the best for her upcoming film.

“I’m very, very proud of you for choosing to be a part of something like this and I really hope people can see how wonderfully talented you are,” he added.

In the flick, Sonam plays the role of Neerja Bhanot, an air hostess who lost her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 in September 1986.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, “Neerja”, which features Sonam in the title role also stars Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani.

The flick hit silver screens on February 19 world wide but did not release in Pakistan.
