Govt working to find solution to Kashmir issue: Rashid

MUZAFFARABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) government was working to find a solution to the longstanding issue of Kashmir.

He was addressing a convention of Muslim League workers at Palundari in Azad Kashmir this afternoon.

The minister paid tributes to people of Azad Kashmir for their role in the liberation struggle of Kashmir. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was pursuing a path that would lead to durable settlement of the dispute.

He said a conspiracy was being hatched by the incumbent government in Azad Kashmir to steal next elections by having Election Commission of its choice but AJK Supreme Courts has foiled their designs.

The minister announced establishment of a University at Pulandari.
