WEB DESK: Doctors of government hospitals in Khyber Pakhtun Khwa continue their strike against enforcement of Essential Services Act for the third day, Aaj News reported on Thursday.
The three day strike is being observed in the capital and many other cities of the province.
According to reports, the government has given a call for talks on the matter but the doctors and other health workers say that they will not end the protest until their demands are met by the government.
The patients in government hospitals are facing difficulties and their attendants are irked by the strike.
The doctors are divided on the matter of strike. The Provisional Doctors Association have taken charge of the OPDs in the absence of doctors.
