Bangladesh smash 147 against defending champions

WEB DESK: Host Bangladesh have finished their innings on 147 for seven against defending champions Sri Lanka in the fifth match of Asia Cup Twenty20 at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, Dhaka.

Earlier, Bangladesh captain Mashrafi Murtaza won the toss and elected to bat first.

Batting first, the hosts lost two early wickets and the score was two down for two runs after two overs and 26 for three down.

But Sabbir Rehman played a magnificent innings of 80 runs in just 54 balls with the help of three sixes and ten fours. Dushmantha Chameera took three for 30.

Sri Lanka need 148 runs in 20 overs, can they achieve it?
