Amir’s hatrick restricts Lahore Qalandars at 125

WEB DESK: Lahore Qalandars have set target of 126 runs for Karachi kings in the second match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) In Dubai Cricket Stadium, Aaj News reported.

Earlier, Karachi Kings captain won the toss and put Lahore Qalandars to bat first. After the toss, Malik said “When Chris Gayle is playing against you, it is better to bowl first.” Malik took his wicket in the first over.

Malik chose to bowl the very first over against Chris Gayle and he trapped him on the fourth ball of the over when Chris hit a huge shot in the air which James Vince caught easily at long-on.

At the end of Powerplay, Lahore Qalandars were on 38/2 and needed to find the momentum to set a big target.

Somehow, they accelerated after the Powerplay and their score was 89/4 after 15 overs.

But in the 18th over the whole scenario changed and Muhammad Amir got the hattrick in which he took wickets of Dwayne Bravo, Zohaib Khan and Kevin Cooper.

Muhammad Rizwan with 37 runs remained the highest scorer of the innings for Lahore Qalandars. Muhammad Amir took 3 for 27 for Karachi Kings.
