LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Monday directed the Provincial Cabinet Committee on Health to take every possible measure for control of swine flu in the province.
He directed the committee members to supervise the measures taken to control the diseases and check the facilities provided at hospitals for this purpose.
The chief minister directed to adopt all precautionary measure and run public awareness campaign regularly.
Meanwhile, the chief minister has expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of a mother and her three kids in a roof collapse incident in district Jhang.
He also sought report from the district administration regarding the incident.
He has also expressed sorrow over the sad demise of Jamshed Tareen, the father of former finance minister Shaukat Tareen.
