The visit was postponed at the request of Saudi authorities. Earlier, Foreign Office Sunday announced that Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir’s visit to Pakistan has been postponed.
Later, a new date – January 7 – for the Saudi foreign minister’s arrival was announced. The sources said he had to take Pakistani leadership into confidence over the Middle East situation and the Kingdom’s recently formed 34-member military alliance against terrorism.
The Saudi minister would now visit Islamabad on January 7, FO spokesman said.
