KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers, Sindh on Wednesday produced four gangsters before Anti-Terrorism Court and informed it about their 90 days preventive detention for questioning.
The Rangers along with its counsel produced suspects, Muhammad Aslam, Danish and Mohsin before administrative judge of ATC Justice Muhammad Farooq Shah amid tight security. The paramilitary force told the judge that they have credible information about suspects’ involvement in offences came within the ambit of Anti-Terrorism Act. The court was informed that the suspects were picked up in targeted operations.
The court allowed the Rangers to keep the suspect considering legal provision 11 EEEEE (1) of Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997. The production of the suspect along with other documents was made in compliance with 11 EEEEE (3) of ATA for the information and record of the court.
