ISLAMABAD: Security officials arrested several members of banned organization, Jaish-e-Mohammad, after receiving evidence of their involvement in Indian Airbase, Pathankot’s attack.
This was said in a statement by the Prime Minister after he held a high level security meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by interior minister, Chaudhry Nisar, finance minister, Ishaq Dar, Core Commander Lahore and important civil and military leaders.
During the meeting the leaders expressed satisfaction on the investigation of the Pathankot Airbase attack.
It was said that the security forces have raided offices of JEM and sealed several of its offices.
It was stated during the meeting that Pakistan will stay in touch with India to root out terrorism from the region.
