LAHORE: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday said the government was promoting higher education for improving the country’s economy through highly-educated and skilled youth.
“The government is paying special attention to provide skills to the youth,” he said while addressing the concluding ceremony of Pakistan Coating Show in Lahore.
He said the country’ economy was progressing due to the economic policies. Local and foreign investors were investing in various sectors in the country.
Ahsan Iqbal said the government would soon organize an international level brand conference in Pakistan.
He said under the Vision 2025, the government wanted to take Pakistan’s economy to the top ten strongest economies of the world.
Ahsan Iqbal said 2016 will be marked with industrial productivity, quality and innovation.
