Faith in humanity restored as Ahsan helps a homeless man

WEB DESK: Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan is famous for his generosity and he proved it once again by uploading the video of a homeless man on Facebook to help him find work.

To his extreme surprise the video went viral on social media and brought Pakistanis on board to find the stranger a job.

It so happened that Ahsan came across a homeless and unemployed passerby on street who impressed him so much that he was compelled to share his video with fans and friends on Facebook.

No wonder whether it was the man’s proficiency in English or his willingness to work anywhere that moved the actor and he tagged a few of his friends and uploaded the 5-minute clip with caption: “A helping hand is no farther than at the end of your sleeve. Plz let me know if any one of you is interested in helping this man.”

“Give me a chance, just one week, try me out. I’ll be very grateful. I just need a job. I don’t enjoy what I’m doing. Thank you so much,” the 56-year-old man requests in the video.

With the exception of computers, he says he’s ready to work as an “office assistant, run to and fro for photocopies, handle telephones, anything like that”.

After the plea, the homeless man also unfolded his past in the video. From losing his wife and seven children in a car crash to the cruel treatment of his family, the man did not hesitate to talk about his life’s miseries.

Ahsan’s attempt to move Pakistanis soon gained momentum as fans started sharing the video and it flooded the social media within hours of being uploaded. The homeless man instantly became an internet sensation with people appreciating the actor and asking how they could help within their capacity.

The actor uploaded a status later — overwhelmed by the response and positive feedback — stating that the man had been offered a place to stay.

I am completely overwhelmed by the messages that poured in to help this man in the video I made.i really want to thank…
