WEB DESK: After the successful takeoff of his film “Airlift”, Akshay Kumar has thanked his fans for the love and support showered on the Raja Krishna Menon directorial.
Released on Jan 22, the flick earned Rs 12 crore on it’s opening day, Indian Express reported.
Akshay was humbled by the response and took to Twitter to pay gratitude to his fans.
“I don’t know how to thank you all for every ounce of all your love and support for #Airlift, feeling extremely humbled,” Akshay tweeted on January 24.

The film tells the story of an unsung hero who provided help in the evacuation of Kuwait-based Indians during the Iraq-Kuwait war.
“Airlift” also stars Nimrat Kaur, Feryna Wazheir and Purab Kohli.
Nimrat also followed the star in thanking the movie-goers, and posted: “So grateful to each of you the love. Feel so fortunate to have been associated with this incredible story. #Airlift.”
