PARIS: About 70 million euros were lost until last December the Air France-KLM group, because of the attacks of November 13 in Paris, according to a statement released on Monday.
The company said the impact was felt especially in the seat sales factor of the aircrafts linked with North America and Asia, particularly with Japan. It was stressed the stability in the number of passengers, standing at 6.7 million while the seat sale factor stood at 82.9 percent, representing a decrease of 0.2 percent in the annual comparison.
Regarding transport of goods, a deterioration of 7.8 points was registered, with a fill level of 62.5 percent in the aircrafts, eight tenths less than on December 2014, the group pointed out.
On this issue, the Bank of France recently lowered its growth prediction for the economy in the fourth quarter of 2015, because of the attacks of last November.
The indicator will rise 0.3 percent from the 0.4 previously estimated, detailed in a monthly report, in which it was noted a decline of the business climate in industry and services.
For the full year, the company maintained the progress of 1.2 percent of the gross domestic product since it was said that the final impact of the attacks should be limited.
