WEB DESK: US deputy secretary of defense Robert Work said that China and Russia are investing in a robotic army, during a national security forum on Monday hosted by the Center for a New American Security in Washington D.C.
He added that “We know that China is already investing heavily in robotics and the Russian Chief of General Staff (Valery Vasilevich) Gerasimov recently said that the Russian military is preparing to fight on a robotized battlefield”
He added that it is very much necessary for the US to advance artificial intelligence.
Concerns over the creation of killer robots have been mounted as threatening advancements in the field of artificial intelligence for the world.
