LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said that all possible resources were being utilized to ensure the provision of better health facilities to the people.
He was addressing first convocation ceremony of the University of Health Sciences in Lahore.
The chief minister highlighted the weakness of medical sector and termed the resolution of all the problems being faced by medical sector was the need of the hour.
He said the government had taken solid steps for the betterment of medical sector and 200 doctors had been sent to Bangkok for advanced training.
Shahbaz said latest reforms would be introduced in the health sector in this regard.
The chief minister said that different projects had been started to solve energy crisis from the country.
Later, chief minister also distributed medals and degrees among the successful students.
