KARACHI: The Prime Minister assured Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah that the Pakistan People’s Party was not being victimized and invited him to visit Islamabad for further talks, during a meeting at the CM House on Monday, Aaj News reported.
The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is visiting Karachi on a one-day visit. It was expected that during the visit he will talk about issue of Rangers, and extension of their powers.
During the meeting, the PM told the CM that the federal government respected provincial autonomy.
The CM was not feeling well due to exertion after the Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary at Garhi Khuda Bux on Sunday. He was down with flu and had visited the hospital for an ECG.
The PM invited him to visit Islamabad after he recovers.
On Sunday, Bilawal Bhutto accused the PML-N of using the National Action Plan for victimizing the PPP.
During the visit the PM, paid a short visit to DG Rangers and attended an award ceremony by the business community of Karachi.
