ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif formally launched the education reforms program in Islamabad on Friday.
“The government is determined to ensure quality education for all and ensure enrollment of all the children in schools,” he said while addressing the launching ceremony of the reforms program at Islamabad Model School for Girls Panjgaran.
Nawaz Sharif said that under the reforms program, all the 422 schools and colleges in the capital territory would be upgraded and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The prime minister also announced purchase of two hundred new buses for capital territory schools.
He directed that all facilities should be provided in the school and colleges for imparting quality education to the students.
The PM was accompanied by his daughter Maryam Nawaz, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, Minister of State for CADD Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and other high-ranking officials.
