ISLAMABAD: Cricket boards and fans of Pakistan and India have set their eyes for getting green signal for the bilateral cricket series between both the countries after Foreign Minister of India Sushma Swaraj has arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday evening.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shahriyar Khan has said Monday, the last day of the given deadline: “We are extending the deadline for two more days because Indian foreign minister Sushma Swaraj is coming to Pakistan and we are hopeful for the series as government officials of both the countries would look into the matter.”
The series will be held in Sri Lanka, provided that it gets approval of the governments. The series is scheduled to be held in the following month.
The series would be comprised of three ODIs and two T20s International and it would be played between 25 Dec 2015 and 5 Jan 2016.
