A spokesperson of KPK Chief Minister Mushtaq Ghani told BBC Urdu that in order to remember the innocent lives lost on December 16, special programmes will be conducted at government offices.
He said that the Pakistan Army is on the same page as the KPK government and in the next few days a meeting to finalize the arrangements will be held.
Two major events will be held in the province on December 16. The first will be held at the Army Public School, while the second will be held at the Archives Library Hall.
The event will be attended by civil and military top leadership.
At the Archives Library a monument to remember the martyrs of the massacre will be built. The monument would carry pictures of the those who lost their lives.
In an attack by the Taliban on the Army Public school 141 people mostly students lost their lives.
After the attack the civil military leadership asked to prepare the National Action Plan to deal with the terrorists.
