NEW DELHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan on Friday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Khan discussed with Modi the process of dialogue between the two countries, security of minorities and cricket series specially.
“At his request, Pakistan MP & Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf Party Imran Khan called on PM @narendramodi today,” External Affairs Ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup tweeted.
Indian media said PTI chief had invited the PM to visit Pakistan.
Khan said Modi did not reply in yes or no for the cricket series but he only smiled. “I am taking his smile a positive sign now.”
