ISLAMABAD: Three suspects of the Imran Farooq murder case appeared in an Anti-Terror Court today amid strict security where they were remanded for seven days and handed over to the FIA, Aaj News reported.
Suspect Moazzam Ali wore a red cap, he was accompanied by Mohsin Ali and a slightly bearded Khalid Shamim. The number plate of the car they were brought in was hidden by a cloth.
The case was heard by special judge Kausar Abbas. The investigation officer, Khurram Shehzad told the court that the case included allegations of terrorism. After the three suspects were remanded for seven days, they were sent back to the FIA headquarters amid strict security.
The FIA had registered an FIR against the Imran Farooq murder case on Saturday, where MQM chief Altaf Hussain, and MQM leader Muhammad Anwar, and workers Moazzam Ali, Khalid Shamim and Mohsin Ali were nominated. They were accused of conspiring and planning the murder.
